The Shah brothers, Ram Shah and Lakshman Shah started their journey in the Men’s wear industry back when they were college students in the year 1996. They managed to fund their startup with a capital of mere INR 7000 which was a massive challenge. They started their first batch of production with 200 shirts in the brand name “Seacone”. To their surprise the demand kept increasing every month and within a span of 1 year they started making upto 2000 shirts monthly. The duo became popular as their experiment of unique designs, stylish patterns and top-notch quality was loved by their customers. Upcoming years they experimented further and switched from Men’s shirts to Men’s Kurta in the name of “Rajyog”. Two offline stores were opened for Men’s kurta and simultaneously online presence also became strong. Rajyog became a known name for retailers to source kurtas for their retail stores and they became popular as Kurta Manufacturers in the country.

“Maatbbar” was a brain child of Shah brothers during the Covid period. The company went through a tough time when thousands of orders were cancelled as the wholesale orders for offline stores were scraped due to lockdown. The entire stock produced during covid was ultimately sold but with a lot of difficulty. It is then when they decided to open their own chain of stores as EBOs under the brand name “Maatbbar”. 2023 was when the first store of Maatbbar opened under “VAGDAN FASHION PRIVATE LIMITED” in Bhagalpur. The company currently has multiple stores in Bhagalpur, Kolkata, Kanpur, Lucknow and has a target of 100 stores pan India by the end if 2025
